This lighter is one of 118 remaining lighters, of an initial 150 approved for production by Pontiac Motor Division in
1994. Subsequent to the initial approval date, and the actual production run, PMD then cancelled its approval
later in the same year, requiring an excessive high liability coverage.
Note that the lighter carries the arrowhead, and lists the model “SJ” in the lower front of the lighter. There will
never again be such a lighter produced with the applied design. The lighter also has the 10 lines of related
engraving on the back. This is true collector’s lighter. See history of the lighter on the “Historical” data page.
