Custom Outdoor Protection

This storm-shield type fabric was originally introduced by Covercraft in 1992. We felt it offered many features and benefits that were unique (at the time) for outdoor vehicle protection fabrics. Due to some quality issues, we discontinued the fabric. Thanks to recent improvements in production technology, we are very pleased to re-introduce it to our line-up of performance fabrics because it's a good value for a woven fabric cover. Ultralon uses very strong UV-resistant woven knit polyester for the base fabric. The finish process involves placing an ultra-thin layer of breathable acrylic foam on the underside of the fabric and coating the foam with cotton flocking fibers while it completes a curing process. The result is a very moisture-resistant breathable fabric, with a soft finish for paint protection. The layer of foam provides a high degree of dust protection and also provides extra cushioning to help ding protection.

Double stitched overlapped seams are strong and durable.

Neoprene elastic is sewn into the front and rear hems to help hold the cover in place.

Reinforced, non-scratch grommets include a protective flap on the backside and can be used with a              tie-down rope or vinyl coated cable and lock.
